New Work

Ok, so another couple of new work additions… one sold already (that’s got to be a record for me!). It made me think quite a bit about how I remain connected to my work and that it is intrinsically part of who I am. My knee jerk reaction to someone wanting to purchase it was ‘oh, but I haven’t had long enough to sit with this and reflect.’ I realise that it doesn’t necessarily have to be with me for that to happen… a strange emotion all the same… Made me smile (that and some cold hard cash in my hand!).

These are inspirational and incredibly thought provoking.
I completely understand the ‘connection’ aspect.
You inhabit your work in perpetuity, and it informs your onward movement.
Once it has been produced and does not immediately convey, it dies.
    Onward and up.
    Love
    Krista.

Thank you for your comment, most encouraging. Perpetuity…such a good word and so true. I always believe really that no work is actually finished, merely a stop off point for the next stage. Exciting really, as there is always something that comes next (no matter how long that takes to surface).
      🙂
